Send Big File

Sending large files via email is impossible, due to the limitations of most mail services. With Send Big File (or Big File Sender), you may cut up your files into smaller pieces, which can be sent by email or stored on low-capacity memory devices. The application is offered completely free of charge, for Mac OS X and Windows and you can set it up on your machine in a matter of seconds.

Send Big File supports two operations: it is capable of splitting files and it can also put them back together. You can prepare and execute these operations on different tabs, on a compact user interface. All you have to do is choose what you wish to split or join, select an output path and click a button.

The software can split a file into multiple pieces of user-specified sizes, but it can also split a single file into a specific number of files. Additionally, you can decide to erase the source contents, by simply ticking a check box. Another useful feature is the included file size references. It is a simple table, which lets you know about the file size limits you will encounter on various mail and cloud services.
